  • Glen Eden Drive is the last turn before the water; follow it to the Sundance gate.

  • Stock up first — the Tackle Box (83924 N State Hwy 289) has ice, firewood, groceries and bait.

Arrival & check-in

Check-in is at 3pm, check-out at 11am. Sundance is a gated, registered-guests-only property; you'll receive arrival instructions and the gate code by text before your stay. Because the camp is unstaffed most evenings, please arrive with everything you need — the nearest store is the Tackle Box on Highway 289, about 20 minutes back toward Pottsboro.

GPS: 33.877832, -96.636237. If your map app tries to route you across the water, follow 289 all the way north instead.

Frequently asked

Do the cabins have bathrooms?

Not inside — a modern bathhouse with hot showers is a few steps from the village.

Can we rent the whole property?

Yes. Sundance is regularly bought out for retreats, reunions and weddings. Groups of three or more cabins book through our events team and pay in full at booking.

Is there food on site?

Not routinely, but pre-packaged meals, campfire dinners and breakfast can be arranged for groups. Otherwise the Tackle Box and Pottsboro restaurants are 15–20 minutes away.

Can I bring a boat?

You may bring a boat, but Sundance does not have a usable launch ramp. Ask the reservations team about nearby launch and marina options before arrival.

Is there Wi-Fi?

No. That's rather the point.
